This week we are taking part in National Science Week and linking this with maths and outdoor learning. Despite the blustery, wet weather, classes have gone outside to further their learning. Hawthorn class have carried out a maths investigation using levers to create a pair of scales. Maple class have gone on a walk around the school grounds looking for evidence of Spring. Oak class have searched for objects and compared them using mathematical language such as longer than, heavier than, shorter than etc.
