We recently held our European Day of Languages where each class learned about a particular country and its language. Oak Class learned about Spain and counted to ten in Spanish. Also we were lucky enough to have a parent visit us and read a story of Robin Hood in Spanish.
Maple Class learned lots of interesting facts about Italy and using a variety of resources including biscuits and icing, built The Colosseum!
Silver Birch researched Japan and made flags. They also did origami activities and had a parent and a grandparent in to talk about Japan.
Hawthorn Class were learned about Russia and made Russian dolls. Miss Dondajewska also read a story to the class in Polish!
Sycamore had such fun learning about France and created the Eiffel Tower using long dried spaghetti and marshmallows!
